The Camera Wizard, made by Byte Brothers, is a portable and light weight handheld multifunction device that comes with many powerful features to make your CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) surveillance systems installation and troubleshooting jobs a walk in the park.

With 20 different protocols included in this tool, the Camera Wizard will work with any CCTV security camera wizard on the market. This device comes with a 2.5 inch LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) screen that will display a very sharp picture and OSD (On Screen Display) menu. This screen will also reveal the video signals amplitude and VPP (peak to peak value), which should be at least 1 VPP in order for the video recorder to record. Another useful feature is the PTZ(Pan Tilt Zoom) because it allows you to control your cameras pan, tilt or zoom for faster installations and servicing of security cameras.

RS-485 serial data decoding test is another amazing feature for troubleshooting malfunctioning keyboards and joysticks. A digital voltmeter is also included with this one of a kind tool to ensure that youre getting a higher order of accuracy within plus or minus half a percent. DC voltage, AC voltage and Resistance can be checked with this high-tech digital multimeter.

If you want to perform a cable test to ensure that youre getting the best data transfer rate from your Cat5/Cat6 cables, this device includes an RJ-45 network connection port. By using this port, you can test UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) Cat 5/Cat 6 cables.
