HellermannTyton® Metal Content Ties are manufactured with metal particles so that inspectors in the health and food industries know that products have not been tampered with or contaminated, also helps detectors locate applications being strapped to these durable metal content ties for security reasons. The metallic blue coloring is utilized for visibility to reassure that applications have not been manipulated. Making these metal ties non-reusable and non-releasable ensures that products are protected, sanitized and will always pass inspection.

These metal content ties, which are available in different lengths, cost less that all metal ties, are more flexible, and operate at temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. Environmental organizations have made these HACCP (Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points) approved cable ties RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant, Halogen free and have a UL94(Underwriters Laboratories) HB flammability rating.
