That is why installers and technicians of phone and network lines always use JDSU tools to get the jobs done right the first time.The JDSU Tone Tracer model TT100is a handheld probe that detects audio tones used to identify cables and wires, weather bundled or not, without damaging the insulation layer of wires and cables. The power switch is pushed to turn the device on which helps conserve battery life when not in use. The Duckbill or round tips included with this apparatus are made of an inductive plastic material to prevent damaging wires or cables and can be easily replaced without the use of any tools. The volume on this high-sensitivity probe can be adjusted in case of high or low noise environments. This device is compatible with other tone generators.
