Implementing a 4-port switch into this high performance VPN Broadband Router you can expand your LAN (Local Area Network) to connect 4 devices like 3 computers and a printer to grow your home business or to add PC’s to each room. With this VPN Router you can even access files on your home computer from your office and not worry about the data being intercepted or tempered with.

The switch features DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) which gives computers their own IP (Internet Protocol) address to allow communication and sharing of files between them. RIP (Routing Information Protocol) allows for your network to be segmented into several smaller networks ideal for limiting access of files to different departments. Your VPN router can create up to 10 secured VPN channels supporting PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol), L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol), and IPSec (Internet Protocol Security)to provide high security when transferring data through WANs (Wide Area Networks).

URL (Uniform Resource Locator) filtering and Internet Access Logging are features that bosses and parents will enjoy to control their kids or employees web surfing habits. Password Protection, NAT (Network Address Translation), SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection), and DoS (Denial of Service) attack protection will give your home or office network the protection against unethical hackers wanting to crash your network or steal important data.

The web-based management utility allows for easy configuration and management of your VPN Broadband Router through your web browser for safe surfing at all times. A setup wizard is included in the CD for a quick configuration of your network router.
