A no-clean, lead-free solder comes from MG Chemicals with a purity of 99.3% Tin and 0.7% Copper. This complies with the purity requirements of J-STD-006, and the formula makes it safe to use. The residue left over from this MGC solder is hard and non-conductive, ensuring a long-term life span that will keep your devices preserved.

You can use lead-free solder for nearly any type of project that uses leaded solder. The only difference is how much safer it is to use in terms of your personal health. No-clean, lead-free solder comes in spools and is ranked as a 21 gauge wire.
