Soldering is one thing, but desoldering is a whole other category, and its a situation you may one day face. Luckily for you, there are products specially designed for this: from MG Chemicals comes a Super Wick that can be purchased as a fine braid, with no-cleaning needed, or as lead-free. All of these are made without oxide and will not rust, providing fewer cleanups when removing solder. Additionally, the residue left is environmentally safe and does not need to be removed, although may be preferred.

Your electronics wont suffer damage when using these wicks; they are static-free and are designed for close-contact applications. Meeting military standards MIL-F-14256F, and ANSI/J-STD-004, these wicks have been certified for purity compliance. Fine Braid, Lead-Free, and No clean super wicks come in five different widths for multiple size jobs. Each comes in a different color for keeping your projects organized and sharp.
