Firestop bricks by Nelson is one of the fastest and easiest ways to seal openings for passing cable trays, ducts, and cables. Since cable trays and cables tend to need service from time to time, the fire stop bricks can quickly be re-placed and re-positioned. Although the soft, elastomeric brick can be compressed to fit into small openings, when fire protection is needed, the fire safety brick will expand creating a solid char hindering fire penetration for up to 2 hours.
