Nylon Braided Sleeving is a tightly woven sheathing which provides exceptional abrasion resistance in situations where cables and hoses are exposed to excessive wear and tear, such as cable assemblies and automotive applications.
This Nylon sleeve is manufactured from Nylon 6-6 polyamide monofilaments; the finished product is a sleeving with smooth fibers that help significantly reduce the damage to hoses and cables that are creating friction on the inside of the sleeving.
Nylon Expandable Sleeving is the perfect product for automotive use, as it resists all common automotive chemicals. It is also resistant to UV damage, and does not rot or retain moisture
Available in diameters from 1/8” to 1 ¼” in black
Has an operating temperature of -49 °F to 302 °F

Heater Hose protection
Mountaindog from SW Washington State.
Needed some OEM look-a-like nylon sleeving for some radiator heater hoses that wind around the engine compartment in a Ford Explorer.
Looks like factory and easy to use. Just remember to buy a foot or two extra in length because like all braided sleeving material, it will get shorter than actual installed length on an oversize hose. So, I suggest a test fit of the sleeving over hose first before cutting the sleeve to length otherwise you may wind up with sleeving too short !

Nylon Expandable Braided Sleeving

A good quality, tough sleeving for cable assemblies that get disconnected and reconnected, or moved around, frequently. Just keep in mind that nylon is hygroscopic, so you don't want to use this where there is high humidity, outdoors, or in other areas where it may be exposed to water.

Great product, works very well.

Very fast delivery. Absolutely nothing wrong with my shipment. This stuff is really nice at expanding and turning a mess of wires into a professional looking job. I would recommend you use a hot wire to cut it or you will have a mess just like you would with nylon rope.
