Silica Sleeve

Description of Silica Sleeve

Scroll to Pricing

Exhaust pipes in engines and machinery should be covered with thermal insulation for optimal performance. Electric cables, wires, and water or hydraulic hoses should also be shielded to prevent damage from cuts and abrasion. Silica Sleeve will provide all high performance hoses, cables, and pipes with longer life spans and less company expenses due to replacement of prematurely worn out parts.

The 60 mil thick wall of this braided Silica Sleeve will protect all your electrical wires, pressure hoses, and electrical devices from malfunctioning due to direct contact with exhaust systems. Workers will also be safeguarded from touching overheated pipes. This silica sleeving is also utilized as heat insulation on exhaust systems to create better airflow for increased horsepower and fuel efficiency on automotive, industrial, and commercial engines.

Cutting this high-grade sleeve is easy with scissors and slides over exhaust pipes, electrical cables and hydraulic hoses for an effortless installation.

Maximum continuous operating temp: 1800F
