The Sniff-It and Sniff-It 2 have a new ergonomic design that is easy to carry and use. Each model detects AC voltage without making contact to keep you safe. When the AC voltage is found, both models flash lights and emit beeps to alert you. Outlets, light bulb sockets, appliances, power tools, circuit breakers and more can all be tested with the Sniff-It's

The difference between the Sniff-It and the Sniff-It 2 is that the Sniff-It 2 has an Adjustable Sensitivity Control feature that can detect 5 to 600 Volts AC. The Sniff-It can detect 30 to 600 Volts AC and does not feature the Adjustable Sensitivity Control.
