Designed for use on 110 – 125 VAC receptacles, the Triplett Plug Receptacle tester detects common wiring problems in both standard and ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) outlets.

Easy to use: simply plug into receptacle in order to observe the light pattern; then push the yellow button to test operation of ground fault receptacle. “Test in Progress” LED indicator monitors progress.

This product comes with a manufacturer 1 year limited warranty.

Features and Benefits

  • Use only on 110 to 125 VAC receptacles
  • This tester does not indicate the quality of a ground connection
  • This tester does not determine if the neutral and ground conductors are reversed
  • This tester may not indicate the presence of a hot wire as it is possible for a hot wire to be present when none of the indicators light
  • This tester will not test GFCI's installed on 2 wire (non-grounded) electrical circuits
  • It is recommended that all corrective action be made by a qualified electrician
