Fire Barrier IC 15WB Sealant by 3M

With its intumescent property, the 3M Fire Barrier IC 15WB Sealant is able to expand a minimum of 2 times at 1000F to provide an air tight seal preventing smoke, noxious gas, fire and water from passing. This sealant is thixotropic (able to use overhead and vertically) and is endothermic (absorbs heat energy and releases chemically bound water).

Available in a tube or pail, 3M Fire Barrier Sealant can easily be applied and dries with-in minutes. Its water based formula makes for no special handling and easy clean up.

• Wall construction joints
