Ethernet crossover cables are designed to directly connect two devices of the same type: two hosts or two switches to each other, such as computers and game machines. No more need for normal straight through patch cables which require a device to be connected to a network switch, hub or router before communicating with another device. A crossover cable simply switches the wires, allowing the devices to bypass switches and hubs.
Patch cables are manufactured with unshielded twisted pair and a CM type PVC jacket for protection. Rj45 plugs include 50micron gold plates for long lasting and durability!
Shielded cross patch cables are also available for additional plug protection. Insulated conductors are enclosed by a common conductive layer to reduce electrical noise from affecting signals as well as reduce electromagnetic radiation that may interfere with other devices.
All Cat5E cross patch cables come with a gray cable and a green boot. Available in various cable lengths to fit any computer networking application you may have.
