CAT6 RJ45 Tool-Less Plug is an 8-position 8-conductor (8P8C) and is designed for computer networking in workstations and in the home. Cat6 rated connectors provide phenomenal performance for any data network requiring maximum speed and bandwidth.
This inexpensive tool-less plug does not require the use of a crimping tool. Instead, just simply insert the leads following the color coding and press down the lid for easy installation. A 568A and 568B wiring diagram is integrated on the toolless plug lid for clear installation instruction.
Cat6 UTP tool-less plugs are backwards compatible to all lower rated category components, such as Cat5 and 5e. The applicable wire gage is 23 to 26AWG and this connector is an IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) which means there is no need to strip the wire before connecting.
All RJ45 Cat6 plugs are UL Listed and have a 25 year warranty.
