Perfect for gaps, blank openings, pass-throughs in walls and electrical boxes, STI SpecSeal SSP Putty can be hand applied to prevent the spread of fire, smoke and toxic gases. With the ability to expand up to 8 times its normal size when exposed to high temperatures or fire, STI SP100 fire protection putty has endothermic fillers to absorb heat and release water as part of its safety function.

This SpecSeal firestop putty is unaffected by humidity, condensation, water and will not harden giving it great adhesion to the areas you are sealing.
