Shared Total USB charging ports feature a smart control system, this means when you plug in a device that needs 5v 2amp, the station will provide 5v 2amp to It. If all ports are being used for charging, the smart control system will provide the minimum charging rating to the devices that they require, but the total output of the unit will not be more than the shared total. If one device is plugged in for charging, the station can provide all the shared total to that one device if the device allows it.
