High-temperature shielding Thermashield tape provides exceptional heat reflectivity and thermal stability during short-term exposure to intense heat.

Constructed from 1 mil aluminum foil laminated to a 3 mil glass cloth with a durable silicone adhesive, it offers both mechanical strength and thermal protection. Even when the silicone adhesive undergoes thermal degradation, it transforms into a silica-based insulating layer, maintaining the tape’s integrity and performance.

Ideal for use as a radiant heat shield, this tape safeguards electrical control wiring, power cables, hoses, and other heat-sensitive components from damaging temperatures and electromagnetic interference (EMI/RFI).

Maximum Continuous: 491°F / 255°C
Minimum Continuous: -76°F / -60°C
