LaserLine Cable Installation Kit

LaserLine Cable Installation Kit
LaserLine Cable Gun Kit

LaserLine is a cable gun designed to improve wire installation. Powered by CO2 cartridges, this device can launch a pull line up to 120 ft in a number of closed, indoor areas. Making use of a laser sight scope, helps target where you want to shoot, pull the trigger, and blam! A cable line made of strong nylon flies across the room, connected to a bright foam dart.

Once everything is set up with the LaserLine gun, just attach a cable or supports, and pull them across. Installing the nylon string to the foam darts, loading them and the CO2 into the gun, and configuring the velocity speed is all fairly easy. Cumulatively, this increases work productivity greatly and decreases labor fatigue and intensity. Replacement parts are available below.

Very handy!
We were running CAT6 recently and weren't looking forward to the prospect of fishing the cable through the building, which has been in place since the early 80's and full of old, unused cabling. I decided to try the LaserLine device, and I'm very glad I did. It made running the cable so much easier, took a lot less time, and didn't get us nearly as dirty as using alternate methods. Once I played with the device a bit and got the setting dialed in, it became very intuitive to use. If you decide to try this, get extra darts and CO2 cartridges because you need to 'play' with it in an open area to understand how to use the dial to set the power/distance. You'll also need to get batteries for the laser sight. I wish the device could be stored with the CO2 cartridge in place, as you have to remove the cartridge for storage of the 'gun' in it's case, even if you've made only one or two 'shots' with it. That's the only con I have. Overall I really like this device and will definitely be using it again!

Love it!
Heard of guns to shoot draw wire, unavailable in Australia. Glad I found these guys, shipping was no hassle and arrived sooner than expected. Great product, already saved plenty of time in ceiling spaces. Word of warning though, don't shoot at new fly screens - shits the missus off when the dart goes straight through :(
