Triplett Fox 2 & Hound 3 Digital Tone Generator Kit

The unique Fox 2 & Hound 3 Digital Tone Generator kit by Triplett includes a deluxe tone generator, an inductive probe tracer, and a carrying case. It is very easy to use, you just need to plug the Fox 2 into the jack and turn it on. Then, take the Hound 3 to find the tone that is generating through the wire or line. Once you find the line, you will hear a beep.

The Fox 2 is a deluxe high tone generator with true trace which allows for definite ID of target wire pair when there is a change of trace tone. It also offers a "Trip-Latch", which is a technique for testing alarm sensors using the true trace technology. This tone generator offers 3 methods of connectivity: RJ-11 plug for tracing telephone wires, RJ-45 jack for tracking LAN cables, and an optional RJ-45 to BNC for tracing BNC cables.

The Hound 3 probe is a streamlined inductive tracer with headlights and earphone jack for use in quiet or noisy environments. This probe features 2 bright LEDs headlights to light the way in dark areas and reduce fluorescent light noise, a new shielded design to suppress "feedback squeal", and a new streamlined design that permits better access to hard-to-reach areas.
